Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in assisting GNODCA in our quest to provide quality music and performance programs to the community.  As you know, drum corps have always depended on the help of volunteers to accomplish the many tasks necessary to keep our units running.  We are always in need of help in the areas of Fundraising, Public Relations, Communications, Social Committee and Quartermaster/transportation, just to name a few.  If you wish to donate some of your time to assist us with these or any other tasks you might find interesting, please drop us a line at drumcorps@gnodca.org, or call 866-734-5264.

GNODCA has an immediate need for personnel to staff vending operations at the Mercedes Benz Superdome or The New Orleans Arena for the following events:

The check-in times for these events will be approximately 3:30 pm.  Exact details for each event will be available closer to the event dates.  The concession operator requires that volunteers conform to their dress code.  There is no limit to the number of people we can use at these events.  Parking, admission and one meal are provided.

 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

GNODCA needs volunteers for our drink concession at the Fairgrounds.  If you can help out on one or more days at this amazing fundraiser, please email fundraising@gnodca.org.  Volunteers for the fest are provided with admission to the grounds, ample free time to see acts and enjoy the festival, secure parking w/shuttle to the gate, and drinks.  Our booth has plenty of space and shade to hang out in view of the Fais-Do-Do Stage.  Please let us know what days you would be able to come, and any performing acts you would like us to try to have you free to see.  The fest schedule can be found on the fest web site, here.
