Crescent City Takes First at E.D. White show
The Crescent City Winter Guard placed first last Saturday at the E. D. White High School Show in Thibodaux. Capping a season of steadily increasing scores, this week’s 78.0 was Crescent City’s best to date. The guard took top honors for the first time, following a string of four consecutive second place trophies in circuit shows.
Crescent City is the only “Independent A” Guard in the Louisiana Color Guard and Percussion Circuit not affiliated with an academic institution. The program, "The Dream Continues", has been well received by the audiences during Crescent City’s inaugural season. The guard will compete next in the LCGPC Championships, in Thibodaux on March 28. |
