The primary objective of The Greater New Orleans Drum Corps Association is to provide a program for music education and performance training through a positive environment that emphasizes character and social development, leadership, self discipline, and the pursuit of excellence.

The Greater New Orleans Drum Corps Association objectives are to preserve and build on the great tradition of the drum and bugle corps activity; to appropriately represent the greater New Orleans area, Louisiana, America and the drum and bugle corps activity worldwide; and to stimulate interest in the study and teaching of music and the arts.
